I am responsible for the final quality of head assets, art direction and creation. I guide a team of artists in our partner studio in Shanghai and review their work at several stages during production where I provide critique on likeness, quality of sculpting, texturing and hair creation. After the assets are completed by the Shanghai team, I take over and make changes depending on quality of each submitted piece. I then make changes and adjustments, often quite significant ones, to make sure the quality is as best as it can be in the time frame that we have, which is about a week and a half for each asset. I then review the assets with the art director who suggests changes which I implement before assets are released to the game. Most of Fifa heads are created based on scan data, but my area of production is where no scan data is available and we create all assets from scratch.
